How much is registration?
The 2025–26 Aerospace Robotics Competition fee is $1,000, and the published due date was November 24, 2025. That date has passed. Payment still happens on the live registration page, including by check mailed to STEM-ED, Inc. at 574 Parish Blvd., Mary Esther, FL 32569.
Which drone do we buy?
Any kit that fits the rulebook on size and cost. STEM-ED asks teams to research before they purchase, and publishes a component list plus a video build series. Those files stay on the live site under supplies and the ARC tutorials. Propellers may not exceed 14 inches.
Who can compete, and how big is a team?
The 2025–26 competition is open to middle school and high school. The minimum team is two, a pilot and a co-pilot. Most teams are three to five students. Each team registers on its own, and a school may field more than one. Home-school students may form a team or join a high-school team.
What if there is no region near me?
You may travel to the region that is easiest to reach. The published FAQ asks you to email support@stemed.edu with the region you designate. The address on the site footer is support@stemed.org. Students outside the United States may come and compete. STEM-ED does not run international regions, and points those students at the free online rulebook as a way to do the work anyway. Live FAQ
Can I sponsor a team or the competition?
Yes. Entry starts at $500 and below. A full team registration is $2,000. Levels run through Platinum at $20,000 and above. The live page says each level includes the benefits of the levels under it. Email them if you want a level, or open the fundraiser on stemed.org for competition items.
